How to Set Up IPTV UK on Any Device

Amazon Fire TV Stick

The Fire TV Stick is the most popular way to watch IPTV in the UK – it is cheap, plugs into any HDMI port and handles HD and 4K well.

1. From the Fire TV home screen, open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and allow apps from unknown sources (on newer sticks, go to About and click the device name seven times to reveal Developer options).
2. Use the search icon to find and install the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore.
3. Open Downloader and enter the app link we send you, then install the player app when prompted.
4. Open the player app, choose Login with Xtream Codes (or the equivalent option) and enter your username, password and server address.
5. Wait for channels, films and series to load, then start watching.

Tip: If the picture buffers, restart the stick and check that no other devices are using heavy bandwidth.

Android TV & Android boxes

Android TV sets, NVIDIA Shield and most Android boxes support the best IPTV player apps directly from the Google Play Store.

1. Open the Google Play Store on your TV or box.
2. Search for the player app we recommend and install it.
3. Open the app and select the option to add a new user or playlist.
4. Enter your username, password and server address exactly as sent (they are case-sensitive).
5. Let the channel list and TV guide load – this can take a minute the first time.

Tip: Set the app to load the TV guide automatically so the programme listings stay up to date.

Samsung & LG Smart TVs

Most Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs from the last few years can run an IPTV player straight from the TV’s own app store.

1. Press the Home button and open the Samsung Apps or LG Content Store.
2. Search for the player app we recommend and install it.
3. Open the app – it will show a device ID or MAC address on screen. Send this to us on WhatsApp if your app needs activating.
4. Enter your login details or playlist link in the app (or on its website, if the app asks you to upload it there).
5. Restart the app and your channels will appear.

Tip: Older Smart TVs can be slow with large channel lists. If yours struggles, a Fire TV Stick is a cheap upgrade.

iPhone, iPad & Apple TV

Apple devices run IPTV smoothly through player apps available in the App Store, and you can AirPlay to your TV too.

1. Open the App Store and install the player app we recommend.
2. Open the app and choose to add a new playlist or Xtream Codes login.
3. Enter your username, password and server address.
4. Tap save and wait for the content to load.
5. To watch on a big screen, use AirPlay or install the same app on Apple TV.

Android phones & tablets

Watch on the go or around the house with the same login you use on your TV.

1. Open the Google Play Store and install the player app.
2. Open it and add a new user with your login details.
3. Allow the app to load channels and the TV guide.
4. Use Chromecast or screen mirroring if you want to send the picture to a TV.

Tip: Standard plans allow one stream at a time, so close the app on your TV before watching on your phone.

Windows & Mac

Watch on a laptop or desktop with a desktop player app or a compatible media player.

1. Download the desktop player app we recommend for Windows or macOS.
2. Install and open it, then choose to add a new playlist or login.
3. Enter your login details or paste your playlist link.
4. Browse channels and on-demand content from the sidebar.

MAG boxes

MAG boxes are dedicated IPTV set-top boxes and use a portal address rather than an app.

1. Send us your box’s MAC address (printed on the label underneath) on WhatsApp so we can activate it.
2. On the box, go to Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.
3. Enter a portal name (e.g. UKViewly) and the portal URL we send you.
4. Save, restart the box and your channels will load.
